Waking up in bed with virile Sam Lawford was hardly Elise Holman's typically angelic behavior. I am a big fan of Ginna Gray's oldies from the 90's. Her style is very reminiscent of vintage Linda Howard in the way she is able to evoke emotion and really make you care about her characters. I found this on the book sale table at the library and couldn't resist this blast from the past. She really draws you in the second you open the book and it was very hard to put this book down. I felt the ending was just a touch forced and his confessions of love a little over-done for how he was throughout the rest of the book, but aside from that I really enjoyed this book!! I give it a 4 rating.
